| 内容記述 | The computer's impact on today's society goes beyond the world of the experts. The first part of this paper is a concise chronological review of the content and characteristics of the "Information Age", and how technological advances have redefined the meaning of the term "computer". The second part of this paper discusses a new technological platform-"Hypermation", a new educational approach-"Hyperlearning". It further discusses the characteristics of a new, potentially major, paradigm shift in the "Teacher-Student relationship, caused by a new Information Age phenomenon, the "Knowledge Carrier". This paper then concludes with recommendations for Japanese education. | |||||
